The exterior design includes a spacious rear deck with a bar, a sun lounger and a customizable cinema screen. THE Flybridge of this yacht is the largest existing compared to all other yachts in its class. There is very good wind protection at high speeds.
The interior of the Gladiator 961 Speed
The design of this yacht is made by Cristiano Cat. He designed it to emphasize comfort and interior customization.
The first deck is equipped with a panoramic lounge with a huge sofa with a television hidden in the bar. While the second deck offers many layout possibilities, including a master suite across the entire width of the Gladiator. This design creates a huge suite. All materials used are selected for their superior quality. In addition, it offers the choice to a totally unlimited and unique decoration.
The performance of this yacht
This luxury yacht can reach speeds close to 50 knots, even with these 29.22 meters / 96′. Nothing was left out during the engineering phases of the Gladiator 961 Speed:
- The shell is made from a lamination of E-glass and vinyl ester resin using an infusion process.
- The deck and superstructure are made of vacuum-packed carbon fiber. Allowing the weight of the yacht to be optimized.
- All cabin floors are structural and manufactured in vacuum-formed E-Glass with core drilling Airex ® to also reduce weight, but also eliminate squeaks and increase rigidity.
- The interior furniture is produced in-house and made of lightweight materials such as high-density polyurethane foam or composite and aluminum honeycomb.
- The crampons are made of titanium and carbon fiber forgée.
Motorization
The Gladiator 961 Speed is available with two different power groups:
- Two engines MTU ® 16V 2000M96L 2600 HP,
- Three engines MAN ® V12 2000 HP.
In both cases, the motors are coupled to Surface Drives equipped with calculators Auto-Trim And Auto-Flaps allowing them to electronically achieve, at a given speed, the best tab and trim settings optimizing fuel consumption.
