A boat with a sporty look
The design of the 571 retains the most successful features of the iconic 493 such as the gigantic aft and forward sunpads, the integrated sun loungers on the foredeck, the central helm station, to name a few. While emphasizing the brand's style, the designers were asked to incorporate new features such as the inverted sofa above the swim platform to attract the most water sports-loving customers, the cockpit side lockers for fender storage, the integrated inverted armchairs on the foredeck and a garage for the tender.
A custom design
The most difficult part of the design process was probably to maintain the purity of a modern and classic design when creating the outboard version, powered by 3, 4 or 5 Mercury V12-600 hp engines, while maintaining a sexy look. The integration of a one-piece hard top and a double-curved windshield was also no easy task. Movement on board was another priority, with only one step between the aft sundeck and the foredeck. Focused on performance, which in its basic version can reach a respectable speed of 36 knots with only two MAN i6-850 hp and up to over 55 knots, safety was essential. The walk-around concept has been retained and the protection provided by the bulwarks is such that even young children will be able to move around the boat at high speed.
